Mommy Matinee (Kennedy school)

So it turns out that Kennedy school has something called a "mommy matinee" where fussing is encouraged. My friend Steph invited me and some other recruits on Thursday. Felt good to get out with Una and to be around a ton of other moms. Man the place was packed for 1PM on a Thursday. Ended up being 4 other newborns plus Una and I. It was so good to be around other new moms with babies just Una's age! We bounced, rocked, and fed our way through Where the Wild Things Are and then spent another hour after swapping stories of our adventures so far. During the movie there was a symphony of babies crying and no one was upset or even miffed, so cool, gotta write the McMenamins a thank you letter or something.
